Manticor is a platform that is a derivatives exchange for digital assets.
Titles and headings to sections herein are for the convenience of reference only and are not intended to be a part of or to affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms of Service.
Please read these Terms and Conditions (also referred to as “Terms” or “Agreement”) carefully. By using our platform, you agree to all that is contained herein.
Our Privacy Policy can be found at the end of these Terms and Conditions.
1. Incorporation and Jurisdiction
Manticor is operated by Manticor Trading LTD and is incorporated in the Seychelles.
Manticor is registered in the Seychelles at the address Global Gateway 8, Rue de la Perle, Providence,
Mahé, Seychelles. Manticor is incorporated under the laws of the Seychelles.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Seychelles Law
2. Usage
2.1. Permitted Usage
Use of Manticor’s exchange platform (inclusive of ancillary websites, collectively the “Exchange” or “Platform” or “Sites”) and the services offered on the Exchange (the “Services”) are “as-is” and are governed by the terms and conditions contained on this Terms of Service page (the “Terms”).
2.2. Restricted Usage
You must not use Manticor’s Exchange in any way that causes, or may cause, damage or impairment to its availability or accessibility; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity. You must not conduct any data collection activities (including but not limited to scraping) without our written consent.
3. Restrictions
In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, the following restrictions apply to all persons using Manticor’s exchange platform. For the purposes of these restrictions, “persons” shall apply both to individual users of the platform, as well as to incorporated entities whose beneficial owners meet the following exclusion criteria.
Persons that are located in or are a resident of the United States of America or Québec (Canada) are prohibited from holding positions or entering into contracts at Manticor
Persons that are located in or are a resident of Cuba, Crimea and Sevastopol, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Sudan, or any other jurisdiction where the services offered by Manticor are restricted, are prohibited from holding positions or entering into contracts at Manticor.
Manticor reserves the right to immediately close the accounts and to liquidate the open positions of persons determined to have breached our Terms of Service. If you do not accept the terms of use and conditions outlined in this agreement, do not access this site and do not use this service.
4. User Obligations
It is your responsibility to keep secret, safe, secure, protected and confidential (as is appropriate) your username, password, any authentication mechanisms or devices, your email address, and your wallet address. It is your responsibility to notify Manticor immediately if your password or your account is compromised.
You agree not to undermine the security, integrity or performance of Manticor’s Exchange Platform.
You agree not to attempt to access any parts of the Exchange to which you do not have theauthority to access.
You agree that you are acting for the benefit of your own trading account.
By opening an account on our Exchange Platform, you represent and warrant:
that you are at least 18 years of age;
that you have read, understand, and accept these Terms and Conditions;
that you are the legal owner of any funds which you transfer to our custodial services, and that you own and have control over the address you provide for the withdrawal of such funds;
that you are aware of the risks in using this Exchange the Services it provides;
that using our Exchange does not violate the law in your jurisdiction;
that you will not violate the law by using our Exchange;
that you will participate in market manipulation;
and that the documentation and personal information you provided are true, correct, valid and up-to-date.
5. No Warranties
Manticor makes no warranties about the accuracy of any market data, news or other market-related information (collectively, “Market Data”) we provide.
Manticor makes no guarantee that our platform will be available 24x7. While we anticipate best in class uptime, and will strive to give notice of any service interruptions, we do not guarantee notice, nor do we guarantee interruption-free service.
Manticor makes no guarantee that the platform will be error free.
6. Your Account
6.1. Identity Verification
Manticor reserves the right to at any time to verify your identity.
Manticor reserves the right to require you to supply additional personal information about yourself and your transactions.
You agree to cooperate and provide any information or documentation that we may require
6.2. Account Restrictions
Manticor reserves the right to impose trading limits, restrictions, halt trading activity, or cancel or reverse your trades on your account for any reason whatsoever (including but not limited to your breach of these Terms of Service or trading in a suspicious or illegal manner).
If we decide to close out your account, we will provide notice. If, after the notice period expires, your positions are not closed, Manticor will close your positions and return any funds we hold on your behalf.
7. Fees
You acknowledge and agree that, by using the Services on the Exchange, fees will apply, and will be automatically deducted from your account.
The fees will be .05% of the notional value of any contracts you purchase, unless stated otherwise.
Manticor may update the fees at any time, and at its sole discretion. Any such revisions to the fees will take place only after the new fees are published on the Exchange.
8. An Orderly Marketplace
Manticor has a responsibility to build, maintain, support and protect an orderly marketplace. To achieve that goal, we may:
Halt trading due to market disruption or other pertinent external events.
Revise and/or discontinue any or all Services without prior notice to the Users.
Reverse or adjust prices of trades when such trades or price levels deviate substantially from what would be expected in an orderly market.
9. This Agreement
This is the entire agreement between the parties. By accessing and using the Exchange in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms herein. Manticor reserves the right to change, add or remove any terms in this agreement at any time and without prior notice. You agree that you will continue to be bound to the terms herein and that Manticor has no obligation to notify you of any changes. You agree that it is your responsibility to review these terms of service from time to time and that you agree to do so. Your continued use of the Exchange signifies agreement to these terms, as herein written, and as may be amended from time to time.
Content from other sources, whether on Manticor’s web sites, or in Manticor‘s marketing material, or any other sources, does not constitute a part of these Terms, and further, do not form part of any agreement between the parties.
10. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All of the content, images, and any other material on Manticor’s platform website are protected by copyright laws. Manticor owns these items as well as all trademarks and intellectual property and no permission is granted for their use. Excerpts for non-commercial use are permissible as long as no alterations of the material are made.
11. Disclaimers
11.1. No Financial Advice
Manticor expressly states that it does not provide financial advice. Manticor does promote specific investments nor does Manticor opine as to the merits, advantages, potential profits, or any other benefits from any specific investment opportunity. At no time should any information provided anywhere by Manticor – whether herein, on the Exchange Platform, on any of our web sites, or in any other content supplied by Manticor – be construed as financial advice.
11.2. Education Purposes Only
Any information provided by Manticor is for educational purposes only, and has accuracy limitations as described herein and elsewhere.
11.3. Liability for Loss
The account holder is solely liable for any losses they may incur on the Exchange, as any decision to transact on the Exchange, whether to buy or to sell, is done at the sole discretion of the account holder.
12. Risks
12.1. Inherent Risk of Loss
There is significant risk in trading any cryptocurrency-based products. Dramatic intraday price fluctuations may lead to large fluctuations in the value of your assets at any given moment. Cryptocurrency-based products may become subject to regulation, may significantly devalue, may be forked, may suffer underlying technical problems, may suffer a crisis of confidence or may become worthless for many reasons. There is an inherent and substantial risk that losses may occur.
12.2. No Government Protection
Cyrptocurrencies, and therefore cryptocurrency-based products, are not backed by any government, central bank, other legal entities, or by underlying commodities such as gold or silver. There are no state, government, international or other institutional actors that will protect the value of cryptocurrency, or of your cryptocurrency-based assets, in a crisis.
12.3. Counterparty Risk
On top of other kinds of risk, there is additional counterparty risk to trading derivatives. Under extreme market circumstances, Manticor could:
Partially or entirely close clients' positions without notification so as to be able to complete the liquidation and auto-deleveraging processes;
Cover losses not otherwise covered by an insurance fund with the profits made by traders on the platform;
Prematurely close contracts or products offerings to insure platform integrity;
Revise the margin/liquidation/auto-deleveraging rules without notification.
12.4. Operational Risk
While Manticor strives to have the highest levels of security, co-locates in state-of-the-art data centers, and secures your assets with best-in-class protection from its custodial services, there are nonetheless operational risks for an electronic exchange that create risks to its account holders, including: systems getting hacked, data feeds getting spoofed, 3rd-party service providers being compromised and custodial assets stolen, data-centers going down, localized or regional internet outages, etc. Any or all of these can cause losses.
12.5. Additional Risks
These Terms and this section on Risk are not meant to be an exhaustive listing of all risks to trading on our platform, or to trading in cryptocurrency-based products. There may be other risks we have not identified.
Your financial situation and your tolerance for risk should be in alignment with all the risks described in this section. Users of our platform are assumed to understand these risks.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manticor, its contractors, and its licensors, and the irrespective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Exchange, including but not limited to out of your violation these Terms and Conditions.
In no event will Manticor, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement or substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to Manticor under this agreement during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. Manticor shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control. The previous shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Any failure or delay by Manticor to enforce any of the Terms or to exercise any right under the Terms will not be construed as a waiver to any extent of our rights.
14. Limited Liability
You accept and agree that Manticor shall not be held liable for any inaccuracy, error, delay or omission resulting from your use of Market Data.
Manticor is not responsible for any losses you may incur by restricting, closing or reversing your trades due to a suspected breach of these Terms of Service. You agree to hold Manticor harmless and indemnify Manticor against any action by you or any third party that might have been harmed by our actions.
We exclude all liability for any claimed losses or profits lost as a result of us halting trading.
Except as permitted to the maximum extent by applicable laws, in no event shall Manticor, our directors, employees, agents, suppliers, resellers, service providers, or other users be liable for any direct, special, indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of use, loss of profits, loss of information, business interruption, revenue, or goodwill, whether on the basis of contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence), or otherwise arising out of the use or inability to use the site, or mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletions, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance of the Exchange or any information transmitted to or by Manticor.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, in no event shall the aggregate liability of Manticor, our directors, employees, agents, suppliers, resellers, service providers, or other users whether on the basis of contract, warranty, tort (including but not limited to negligence), product liability, strict liability, or other theory arising out of the use or inability to use the site, or mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletions, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance of the site, exceed the fees paid by you to Manticor during the six months immediately preceding the date of any claim giving rise to such liability.
If we are unable to perform the Services outlined in these Terms and Conditions due to factors beyond our control including but not limited to an event of Force Majeure, change of law or change in sanctions policy we will not have any liability to you with respect to the Services provided under this Agreement for a time period coincident with the event.
15. Breach of Terms and Conditions
Manticor reserves the right to seek any and all legal remedies allowable by law to remedy any breach or violation of these Terms and Conditions, including: freezing your account, closing your account, closing your positions, restricting access to your account and block access to our Exchange.
If required or requested by a court of law, governmental agency or any other law enforcement authority, we have the right to disclose your identity and other information that may be requested.
16. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy is GDPR-compliant.
By visiting, accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that we use your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy, and furthermore, you agree to our use thereof, subject to the Terms herein.

Manticor will keep your data for one year after you close your account, unless otherwise required by law. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by removing all of your personally identifiable information from our systems.

Manticor would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop Manticor from contacting you for marketing purposes.If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please click the “unsubscribe” link in any Manticor marketing emails.
16.6. What are your data protection rights?
Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
